Elderly Care

What is Elderly Care?

Elderly Care physiotherapy (also known as Geriatric Physiotherapy) is a specialized area of physiotherapy that focuses on the unique needs and challenges of ageing. It is not just about treating a single injury. It is a holistic, compassionate, and patient-centred approach that considers your overall health. Our goal is to improve your function, reduce your risk of falls, manage chronic conditions, and enhance your total quality of life, helping you stay as active and independent as possible.

Your Questions Answered

1. How long does it last?

The benefits of physiotherapy—like improved strength, better balance, and reduced pain—are designed to be long-lasting. We empower you with the knowledge and a home exercise program to maintain your progress long after your sessions end. An individual treatment session itself is unhurried, giving us the time to provide thorough, one-on-one care without rushing you.

2.How many sessions will I need?

This is unique to every individual. Your journey begins with a comprehensive initial assessment where we listen to your goals and establish a baseline. Some clients may only need a few sessions to learn a safe and effective home program. Others, such as those recovering from surgery or managing a more complex condition, will benefit from a more regular plan. We will be transparent and work with you to create a schedule that you are comfortable with.

3.Does the treatment hurt?

No. Our entire approach is built on being gentle, patient, and supportive. We understand that you may be in pain or fearful of movement. Our goal is to reduce pain, not create it. All exercises and hands-on techniques are performed slowly, safely, and always within your personal comfort level. We move at your pace, always.Live Actively, Safely, and Independently at Every Age We believe that age should not be a barrier to living a full, active, and independent life. Our Elderly Care physiotherapy services are dedicated to helping our senior clients manage pain, improve mobility, build strength, and maintain the confidence needed to live safely in their own homes and communities.
